Great Wolf Lodge recently announced the creation of their Junior Chef Council (JCC) to guide the development of a new kid’s menu for the nationwide family resorts. Featuring two MasterChef Junior winners, Jasmine Stewart and Logan Guleff, and five aspiring kid tastemakers from celebrity chef parents, the unique group sought to create a sophisticated and healthy menu – created by kids, for kids.
Allied's Hospitality PR team led the charge to drive media attention for the distinct endeavor, pitching national outlets and local media in JCC members’ hometowns. Footage from a one-day working session with the JCC and Great Wolf’s culinary team was used in the menu reveal to press. The finished product was prepared in person at an invite-only cooking demonstration for select media and influencers at the De Gustibus Cooking School in NYC. The three-month campaign generated 49M+ impressions, including stories on Good Morning America, ABCNews.com, BuzzFeed, Atlanta Journal Constitution and PhillyBite.com.
