We are currently seeking a talented and experienced System Administrator / Help Desk Specialist to join our Los Angeles office and support our growing technology infrastructure.
Job Summary:
As a System Administrator / Help Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our team members in the Los Angeles office, as well as remotely to our global offices. You will be working with various technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, Okta, Adobe, Palo Alto, Citrix, VMware, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second level technical support to team members, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, Okta, Adobe, Palo Alto, Citrix, and VMware systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as mobile devices.
- Assist with the administration of Active Directory, including user account creation, group policy management, and permissions.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with various teams to implement and support technology solutions across the organization.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, policies, and procedures.
- Provide on-site support and help manage physical infrastructure in our LA office location as needed.
- Continually evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a system administration or help desk support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Okta, Adobe, Palo Alto, Citrix, and VMware technologies.
- Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as mobile device support.
- Experience with Active Directory administration and group policy management.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, VMware, etc.) are a plus.
Details:
- The salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-$80,000.
- This position will be eligible to participate in the standard benefits offered to full-time employees of Allied Global Marketing (medical, dental, short-term and long-term disability and life insurance as well as 401k and PTO). We also offer 10 company paid holidays.
