ByteDance’s global team wanted to create a milestone event to acknowledge and celebrate the 2nd anniversary since the Trust & Safety (T&S) function was born.
ByteDance consider their global team as a community. Like any community there are those behind the scenes that allow it to function properly.
We saw the T&S team as those unseen heroes, working in the background to protect and facilitate discovery, creativity and connection. We wanted to acknowledge those individuals in the global community and celebrate their achievements in a way that spoke of togetherness even though we were dotted around the globe.
Themed around a creative take on a neighbourhood block party, “The Get2Gether” is about bringing an entire community together within a relaxed yet stimulating environment.
This isn’t your typical stuffy conference; this is an event that puts the audience right at the heart of the experience – no matter where they are on the globe - with a highly visual, engaging and interactive community wide approach.
The 2-hour virtual event was produced in Dublin and broadcast to 10,000 people across 19 countries. The event comprised of strategic insights from global leadership through fireside chats and panel discussions in addition to a range of entertainment from Tik Tok stars to local talent performing live on stage. We created all aspects of the event from event naming (The Get2Gether) to video production, stage design, media training, talent management, asset creation to edit and post production.
