About the role

The Strategy & Innovation team at Allied gives our colleagues and clients a competitive edge by providing strategic expertise, data and insights, and technological innovation. The Director, Strategy & Innovation is a critical role; the successful candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing's role in driving brand and product success, who can effectively lead and collaborate while also working independently and hands-on to deliver measurable results.

This position is hybrid and currently required to be in-office in Central London on Tuesdays and Thursdays during business hours (9:30am-6pm).

 Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Respond to data and insight requests from agency colleagues.
  • Lead / participate in select new business proposals and custom capabilities decks.
  • Stay current with agency solutions, industry news and the competitive environment.
  • Develop client-facing data and insights proposals and lead and / or support on the resulting engagements.
  • Collaborate on creation of regular internal and external communications to keep AGM teams and clients informed of relevant trends and news.
  • Lead and/or support on assigned strategic consulting and related engagements such as brand audits and external presentations.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of agency-wide education initiatives related to AI, automation and agency-proprietary tools.

 

Skills and qualifications

  • 5+ years relevant client and/or agency experience in marketing or a related discipline, experience with direct and indirect reports; proven track record
  • Direct relevant experience in filmed entertainment; live entertainment; subscription television; travel & hospitality; gaming; or arts & culture preferred.
  • A strong understanding of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the marketing landscape
  • Excellent English-language written and verbal, skills with a proven ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Competency and comfort with Office 365 applications and Keynote
  • A strong interest in current AI technologies, specifically LLMs, and their application in paid, earned, and owned marketing
  • Fluency with reading and interpreting / evaluating data from a variety of sources
