Chef Morimoto Celebrity Chef Ambassador

Allied negotiated a partnership between two clients - celebrity Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and Holland America Line - to launch Holland’s Fresh Fish Initiative. This partnership brings port-to-plate sourcing from 60 ports and brings 80 varieties of fish onboard in less than 48 hours.

  • Chef curated three dishes in his signature style to be served in the Main Dining Room onboard: Fresh Halibut XO, Epice Lobster Tails, Fresh Black Cod Yuzu.
  • Pop-up events were held onboard select ships, while his new onboard restaurant, Morimoto By Sea, was open to passengers on the Nieuw Amesterdam.
  • The announcement saw positive coverage in top-tier consumer, trade, and travel digital publications including: Food & Wine, Forbes, Cruise Critic, Yahoo! Life and AOL.
