In a landmark collaboration, our team worked with Hoyoverse and McDonald’s US to launch their first-ever gaming-themed Adult Meal promotion in partnership with the globally successful video game, Genshin Impact, in celebration of the game’s 4th anniversary.

  • Featured a Genshin Impact Apple Pie sleeve with special in-game rewards such as Wind Gliders, a themed Name Card, and themed Recipe with purchase of the Genshin Impact Apple Pie and Genshin Impact Chicken McCrispy.
  • Available on the McDonald’s app and Digital Kiosk POS across all 14,000 McDonald’s stores in the US.
  • The campaign was supported offline via placement on McDonald’s Times Square Billboard and the recreation of Teyvat for two epic LAN parties in Los Angeles and Houston.
  • Genshin Meal reached the highest digital in-app product penetration of all time.
  • 1.2B social reach, proving the power of fandom – this 12-day window surpassed many of McDonald’s longer campaign windows.
