AGM assisted Square Enix in a partnership with confectionary giant Ferrero to make FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH the face of Butterfinger's "Game Better with Butterfinger."
The 5-month partnership featured an Ultimate Gaming Bundle sweepstakes with 500 FFVII REBIRTH and 500 FFVII REMAKE game codes as prizing, as well as products from partners Sony, HyperX, and DxRacer.
Butterfinger also participated in Extra Life's Game Day for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital and provided everyone who donated a minimum of $5 through Team Butterfinger special access to a code for the Shinra Bangle MK. II in-game item.
The partnership included retail display ads featuring FFVII REBIRTH’s key art, logo, and characters at thousands of retail locations throughout the US.
The program was further bolstered by paid media support, social media posts, email inclusion, and an influencer streaming campaign.
